So you think you know how to make money with your HDD operations, whether it be small, medium or large? Drilling for profit begins with the cost information, which leads to breakeven knowledge, which leads to profits. But what other steps are necessary to ensure a profit? This in-depth discussion will prepare you company to truly achieve the profit mode. Areas of emphasis will include knowing your daily rig costs; redundancy in tooling and rig parts; and freight costs – the necessary evil.

This session will focus on the shortcomings in utilizing smaller drilling equipment for larger diameter bores, such as less rotary torque, less thrust for pushing and pulling, and less mud pumping capacity. Contractors will learn how to work within these parameters to accomplish their goals.
